Saturday, Nov 8th we gathered in Maplewood, NJ to celebrate Lorenzo's FIRST Birthday!! The party had an election day theme as he was born on election day last year...& we happily celebrated a VERY GOOD election this year!! Francesco, Katherine & Gabriella came up for the event. I just wish you could have been there to see the two babies meet. It was everything I expected!! Gabriella was VERY EXCITED to see Lorenzo & she threw her arms up & squeeled. Lorenzo was not quite so excited to see her. I think we got some of it on the video (to be attached soon). They are both walking now..but have very different styles!! Lorenzo is quick with his head up and falls down often. Gabriella is more slow, with her head down, & calculated...as if she is determined NOT to fall!! Both are SO cute. The first photo shows Gabriella's glee at seeing him.You can see by the second photo that he totally understood that it was HIS day!! What Joy!!The third picture is with Zia Valentina. The last picture was taken the next day.
