I was in Northern California for 2 1/2 weeks at the end of Feb. It was perfect timing as I manged to miss about 3 snowstorms here in CT!!@@
I managed to see11 family members (the newest member is only 10 weeks old), 7 friends, 3 Museums 4.5 films & read 1 book. It was GREAT!! Tina had a business trip so we flew out together. I stayed in the hotel with her in SF for 2 nights. Tina's CFR group had a private tour of the Academy of Sciences. The new building was rebuilt after the 1989 (?) earthquake. It's amazing!! Then we saw the Cartier exhibit at the Legion of Honor, & The Tutankhamen exhibit at the De Young Museum.
