My sister Laurie (Lolly) came to visit for 3 weeks (Sept. 16-Oct 7). We needed all that time to: bond, share, experience & visit my grandchildren!! It was wonderful to have her here, she is SO eazy, & such fun. My friend Lynne was here from LA & Barbara came up from Norwalk, CT. We had lunch with Zay & saw the Wedding Gown exhibit at a local museum. We visited Becky& family in NJ, Valentina stopped by too.
We drove to see Francesco & family in Alexandria, stopping in Cape May on the way down & Amish country on the way back. We also toured The Mount, Edith Wharton's Estate in Lenox, MA. It was pure Fall with colored leaves & crisp air. We also looked at OLD family slides. She cooked us some really nice meals & we enjoyed each others company a lot!! I will miss her! I plan to get out to CA early next year.
